Our warehouse
We do not have to order anything. It is already on the pallet.
Every standard colour is waiting in Nijverdal. That is why we dare to name a date instead of an estimate.
Why WK
We make it ourselves. That is how we know when it arrives.
No middlemen, no waiting on a factory abroad. Cutting, packing and shipping all happen at one address in Nijverdal. We supply the trade only. Private customers we refer to a fitter in their area.
The year we started building stairs and stair renovation material.
Standard colours, every one of them available from stock.
Working days between your order and your delivery. Our production runs energy neutral.
Stair builders and renovation companies, carpentry, fitting and interior building firms, contractors, shops and resellers. For one it is the material for next week's job, for another a pallet for the shop floor. Either way you get the same colour code and the same dimensions, also when you come back to it six months later. And you speak to the workshop, not to a call centre.
About us
From general carpentry to the staircase
William Kruithof started out on his own in 2007, after years at Van Keulen Interieurbouw. Four years later he picked one speciality: stair renovation. Not because it was easy, but because good material simply was not available anywhere.
So we started making it ourselves. Solid oak parts first, PVC stair treads from 2018 onwards. Today there is a workshop in Nijverdal that runs energy neutral and where every order passes through the same hands.
Frequently asked
What we get asked most
How fast is my stair renovation material delivered?
Order on a working day before 14:00 and your order is with you on site within three working days. In practice it is often sooner, because all standard colours are in stock. The counter at the top of this page works out live which date that is today.
What is the difference between a tread and a riser?
The tread is the horizontal part you walk on. The riser is the vertical part between two treads. On an open staircase there is nothing in between, and you use an under panel to clad the underside of the tread.
How many panels do I need for one staircase?
One PVC stair panel covers two treads. For a staircase with thirteen treads you order seven panels. Not sure? Put the number of treads in the comments field with your order and we will check it for you.
Can private customers order?
No. We supply the trade only: stair builders, carpentry and fitting companies, interior builders, contractors, shops and resellers. A valid VAT number is required to order.
If you are a private customer we are happy to put you in touch with a fitter in your area. Just call or email us.
I run a shop. Can I buy stock?
Yes. For shops and resellers we supply by the pallet and we will think along about which colours are worth stocking. Prices are not published online; call or email for your trade price list.
